01: SCOPE OF WORK
Scope of work covered by this work order shall be “Equipment / Material transportation” as per the agreed locations. Supply of driver, operator, lashing belts / chains and machinery required for carrying out transportation works are included in our scope of work unless otherwise specifically mentioned to the contrary elsewhere in the work order.
02: LOADING, UNLOADING, UNION CHARGES, ETC
Loading and unloading of cargo will be under your scope, union charges, gunda tax or any other charges related to your material or your site will be borne by you.
03: TRANSIT RISKS:
Your responsibility will cover any loss of goods due to non-delivery, theft, pilferage, shortage, damage from exposure to water etc. and under no condition we would be held responsible. Further we shall not be responsible for any en-route delay, or for that matter any consequential loss arising out of our services under this contract. The maximum legal liability against the contract can be Rs. 5,000.00 (Five thousand rupees only), subject to proof of negligence on our part.
04: TRANSIT INSURANCE:
Transit insurance will be arranged by you for any damage or loss during transit and in no case our payment could be withhold. No claim should be made with us. In case of an accident or damage to the Consignment, we will intimate the consignee within time.
05: GST
GST at the prevailing rate will be charged on the overall billing amount. Currently GST is paid by consignee on RCM (Reverse Charge Mechanism) basis.
06: VARIATION
The rate provided is applicable for weight / dimension as agreed, any variation from the same would be charged additionally as below;

For Difference in size, it shall be calculated at;
-
6% of freight per additional feet for sizes up to 43X11X11;

10% of freight per additional feet for sizes beyond 43X11X11 in any of the dimension.

For difference in weight, it shall be calculated on pro rata basis for any additional weight over and above as agreed after loading and can only take weight up to the capacity of the vehicle.

Above will be added to the basic freight rate at the time of bill presentation. Please note that this excludes any state RTO fines/challans and thus will be charged extra.
Without prior approval, we may deny to load the material which are beyond the agreed dimension and in no case we are liable for loss of time due to change of vehicle placed or any other reason. If
without intimation the said material is loaded onto our trailer, then the damage caused to our trailer/driver will be borne by you.
07: FORCE MAJEURE
Force Majeure clause will be applicable.
08: DUTIES AND TAXES
Any duty / permits / EWB / RTO challan / govt. fees applicable on cargo would be arranged by you directly to concern authorities and if paid by us then the same would be reimbursed on actual basis by your company at the time of unloading on submission of proof.
09: PAYMENT TERMS:
Invoice should be settled in full within 30 days of invoice date. Delayed Payment will attract interest @18% per annum.
10: VEHICLE PLACEMENT
Planning to be provided 2 days prior to placement of vehicle for smooth operation. All placement subject to availability of vehicles on that day

11: CANCELLATION CHARGES
Cancellation after providing work order / written or oral confirmation for movement of vehicle / placement of vehicle at the site or due to any other circumstances will be charged as below;

₹10,000 for mechanical trailer;

₹30,000 for Low Bed trailer and
-
₹2,00,000 for hydraulic axle trailers.

12: DETENTION CHARGES
After free period of 24 hrs of arrival at factory/ Port Location for loading or unloading, detention charges will be charged as below;

₹1,500 for Open Truck;

₹2,000 for 40 feet trailer;
-
₹3,000 for 50/60 feet trailer;
-
₹4,000 for Low Bed trailers and 80/90 feet trailers;
-
₹15,000 for Hydraulic Axles per day. (Free time allowed for Hydraulic Axles is 48 hours).
13: VALIDITY
The above rate is valid for next 7 days, thereafter rates may change depending upon market condition.
